Numbers laboratory · October 2026

Numbers are useful when assumptions are visible.

OmniValuer helps compare changes, unit prices and simple growth scenarios. Plug in your own numbers, look at the formula, then check what's missing before making a decision.

Scope of this tool

The result is just an arithmetic calculation of your input. This is not a market price, professional appraisal, guaranteed projection, or financial advice. Older articles on law, health, and insurance have been withdrawn. We do not claim these pages are expert reviewed.

Three ways to check the number

01

Percentage change

Measure the increase or decrease from the initial value to the final value. The basis for comparison is always the initial value.

Formula: (end − beginning) ÷ |beginning| × 100.An initial value of zero does not produce a defined percentage change.
02

Price per unit

Match the sizes before comparing the two packages. Example: the price of 45,000 for 750 grams is equivalent to 60,000 per kilogram.

Formula: price ÷ grams × 1,000.Compare products by quality, composition and relevant additional costs.
03

Growth scenario

Illustrate a balance with monthly deposits and a fixed growth rate. This is a math exercise, not a prediction of investment returns.

The monthly formula and limits are explained below.Does not include taxes, fees, inflation, and changes in yield rates.

02 / Guide

Don't stop at one result.

Choose the right comparator. The increase from 50 to 75 is 50% when 50 is the base. The drop back from 75 to 50 is about 33.33%, because the base is now 75. The two opposing movements do not cancel each other out in percentage terms.

Check units. The price per kilogram helps equate the 750 gram and 1 kilogram packaging. It doesn't take into account quality, waste, shipping costs, conditional discounts, or the quantity you actually need.

Test some assumptions. In the growth scenario, small changes in the assumed annual rate or duration can substantially change the result. A fixed-rate illustration does not show market fluctuations or the possibility of losing principal. Compare several assumptions; do not treat any output as a guaranteed return.

What each tool calculates

Percentage change

(B − A) / |A| × 100, with A as the initial value and B as the final value. The denominator uses the absolute value of A so that the sign of the result follows the direction of change. If A is zero, the percentage is not displayed.

Price per kilogram

P / G × 1000, with P as price and G as net weight in grams. Input must use the price for the same net content. Yield retains the currency unit of the input price.

Monthly growth

Every month the balance is multiplied by 1 + r / 12, with r as the annual rate in decimal form, then the deposit is added at the end of the month. Repetition was carried out 12 times the number of years. It's a simple nominal interest model assuming a fixed rate, with no fees or taxes.
